Eligibility
- All Wu Yee Sun College students are welcome
- Students can submit their designs individually or in group
- No limit on the group size
- No limitation on the number of entries submitted for one student
Design Considerations
- Around-the-clock visibility applicable to different climates
- Consistency with the visual identity of the College
- Fit into the surrounding without loosing the uniqueness of the design
- Cost effectiveness (as compared to other alternatives)
- Environmental consideration (materials, process, engery efficiency, and ongoing maintenance)
Submission Requirements
1. Students could submit their designs in an actual prototype or in 3D computer-generated/handwritten sketches.
2. Students have to submit their entries via the online submission system - https://cloud.itsc.cuhk.edu.hk/webform/view.php?id=664744
3. Students are required to submit the actual prototype or original copies of the 3D sketches to the College Office for judging purpose.

- 30% of marks contributed by Student Online Voting
The Best three entries will be selected for the Gold Award, Silver Award, and Bronze Award. Winning student/team will be awarded HK$1,000, HK$800 and HK$500 respectively.
Other Benefits of Winners
- The winning student/team may be invited to an interview with CuHK newsletter.
- The winning designs (in form of sketches or prototype, if any) may be exhibited in campus for public viewing.
- The winning designs may be adopted or altered subject to College's final decision considering technical and financial feasibility.

Entrants may not use intellectual property (text, data, sound, or images) created by another person without obtaining written permission from its author/creator. The creator(s) and original source(s) must be listed on the online submission form under the part for References & Citation, with written permission(s) attached.
Intellectual Property Right
The entrants shall retain intellectual property rights of their submitted designs. By joining this competition, the entrants agree that the College has worldwide royalty free, perpetual, and non-exclusive rights in all languages, and in all media, to use/to publish/to realize any related materials/designs for any non-commercial purposes.
