Sunny Passion Programme

Established in 2020, 180 Degrees Consulting@CUHK (180DC@CUHK) is a student-led social consulting association under 180 Degrees Consulting - the largest social consultancy serving socially-conscious organisations around the world. At 180DC@CUHK, we help local social enterprises to identify their true potential and design innovative communication solutions. We aim to nurture more young talents to pursue a purposeful career path and empower social entrepreneurs with our human-centric, innovative yet practical ideas. Apart from recruiting multi-disciplinary top talents from CUHK to carry out consulting projects, 180DC@CUHK also organizes events for students to learn more about social consulting and issues in Hong Kong.

Why 180DC@CUHK?

We are the only student organisation in CUHK that offers consulting opporunities to students to work with local social enterprises. Although there are trainings and events on social innovation, most of them focus on volunteering or social entrepreneurship.  We believe there is a market gap between the two, which is working in socially-conscious organisations. Thus, our organization aims to provide social consulting practice for CUHK students to learn more about the industry practically. We hope that they can gain hands-on experience that could help equipping them to enter the market.

Social enterprise is indeed a hot trend so that’s sounds like a great idea! I’d also like to know what enterprises you are working or have worked with and how do you ensure your student consultants’ qualifications, or at least, that they’ll meet the enterprises’ needs?
