You may have heard about the Precious Plastic project --- a project aimed to reduce the scale of plastic recycling. Current, common plastic recycling procedures involve complicated, large machinery in factories. However, it takes a lot of time to distinguish different types of plastics in a large scale, and this lowers the efficiency and profit. Thus, not much plastic is recycled.
Precious Plastic invented and provided the blueprints of machines for small-scale plastic recycling for free so that more people can distinguish a small amount of plastic on their own and re-create products by themselves.
The machines can mold plastic into containers, toys, or even plastic filaments for 3D printing.
What can the machines do, on YouTube: https://youtu.be/8J7JZcsoHyA
However, after watching the instruction videos, I realised that the machines ought to be built by people who are familiar with machine making...
If anyone has the skills and tools to build the machines, I can take up Marketing jobs and help get funding from the college. Please contact me if you are interested.
