Orphan problem is a long-existed social problem, which, regrettably is unrealistic to be eradicated.
The total number of divorces in Hong Kong leading to a new high of 19,597. Non-governmental Organizations (NGO) are established and are working hard to alleviate the problem, lower the number of orphans, bring up the orphans and assist the orphans in their integration into the society.
The impact on their mental and moral growth and related social problems are in urgent need for public concern. The general public has limited knowledge and understanding on the lives of orphans. Misunderstanding on orphans’ personality and ability affects their social status. These problems, to a great extent, are attributed to the lack of concern from the general public and the lack of a platform for communication, exchange and integration.

Mission of Project IMAPCT is to provide a platform for enhancement of understanding and communication, through which orphans can gain support, love and understanding whilst children from complete family can experience the life of orphans and build up empathy; and parents can raise their awareness of the importance of family love and care to children. It aims at building a fair and free from discrimination Society to the orphans.
IMPACT is a platform providing a service for exchange between normal children and Orphans. We would cooperate with the schools and orphans house and invite students in primary and secondary school to join the program for a half year exchange of their families. The participated orphans would live in a normal family of the normal children and the normal children would live in the orphans and adopt the environment there. Preliminary Training and After Event debriefing will be provided for the participants to let them have a review on the experience and provide improvement for the activities
