WakeUp! is a lifestyle magazine and apparel that helps international integration through the understanding of different
point of views of diverse cultures. As our magazine promotes perspective through words, our apparels
would be the canvas which we portray our inspirations that represents the issues.
What?
WakeUp! is a magazine that aims to enhance the cultural integration in CUHK. We would use Chinese and English together in our magazine. Our target readers are all students in CUHK, including international and local students. We are going to provide different interesting contents like food, “traps” in daily life and travelling tips in Hong Kong which suit the demand of various readers. The main body of our magazine is the exclusive interview of people in CUHK about different topics. In CUHK, we may not have a chance or interest to chat with students form other places about their values and opinions in some common topics like love, family, study and our own future. We try to provide you all a platform to understand more of the people and culture nearby. Other than magazine, we are producing products related to our topics of each issue of magazine.
Who?
Students from different colleges, different subjects and different nationalities are grouped together to run this magazine.
When?
We are working on the content of the magazine and the design of our products. We hope the first issue of the magazine can be sold in the beginning of March.
WakeUp! provides university students the essential window to see the world that may often be beyond them. In today’s society, to have a global perspective has never been more important, and anyone could start with TasteMe!
