Objective(s): To encourage students to engage with social issues by starting with their own campus community. Through the sharing of disposable cameras, students will capture moments that reflect the social challenges and stories within their university, fostering awareness and empathy. By passing cameras among participants, the project aims to promote creative expression, social responsibility, and meaningful connections.

Trans科易/The Lost Compass– Find Your Buddies, Find Your Future

The target buddies for our platform are divided into four distinct groups to cater to the diverse needs of students seeking guidance. The first group consists of individuals who have transferred to the same major the candidate is interested in, providing direct and relevant advice based on their shared academic path. The second group includes students currently studying the major the candidate wants to transfer to, offering valuable insights into the program’s structure, challenges, and opportunities.

WYS Racing-Team

Hong Kong lacks variety in sports, let alone e-sports. There are limited

options for the community to choose from. This project will serve the

purpose to introduce a new kind of sports into society, increasing the

diversity of Hong Kong’s sports, popularize e-sports in Hong Kong, giving

more options for people to learn and get their interest. Discover more

talents in Hong Kong and get e-sports to be recognized as an official sport

in Hong Kong. Ultimately, establish e-sports as a new industry in Hong

Peer-tutoring: As students, one of the most crucial problems we face is the completion of our academic tasks. While some of us are self-sufficient in that regard but the majority requires some form of assistance. One straight forwards solution may be to seek help from the peers in the class, however that solution soon proves to be inadmissible once we realize that everyone may be busy at times of need. At the same time, it is not possible for one to take turns and ask everyone else if they are willing to help.

Violence, the way out?

Objective:

We would like to raise public awareness on the issue of gender-based violence. The project would like to alleviate, if not tackle, the problem of gender-based violence through posting leaflets and collaborating with non-governmental organizations. ‘Zero Violence’  would be the vision we would like to achieve. Although it might sound unrealistic, we would try every endeavor to achieve this vision.
